ATTENTION ALL DOWLING STUDENTS WHO REGISTERED FOR THE MOLLOY TEACH OUT

An e-mail from Molloy College, June 8th, 8pm

"A few weeks ago, you were notified by Dowling that they had asked Molloy to serve as the coordinator for a ‘teach out’ that would enable you to complete your education in the most efficient way.

With Dowling’s ongoing postponement of its closing, we asked the New York State Department of Education for clarification of our role. The teach-out option, whereby you would complete your degree using Dowling’s criteria, is not available as long as Dowling remains open. Molloy remains committed to helping you obtain your degree, and we will work with you to bring you to Molloy as a traditional transfer student.

Molloy will be at the June 9 Transfer Fair at Suffolk Community College. We would encourage you to attend and speak with us at that time. We also believe it is important for you to understand and explore all options related to the completion of your college degree.

You may also reach out to us at Dowling@molloy.edu . We look forward to continuing our discussion with you regarding this important topic.

Thank you dowling for fucking us over. A genuine Thank you to our faculty and staff at dowling, who are actually helping us through this shitty transition. And Finally a Big thank you to Mike Imprixis, a friend, advisor, mentor and so much more than we could have ever asked for.
