What will my diploma say?

If you take 12 credits or under from another school your diploma will be from New York State! If you take more then 12 credits, your diploma will state the name of the college you took your last 12+ credits from.
"Does anyone have any insight as to dealing with NYS. St Joe's told me I would need to take 25 credits there to have my degree from St. Joe's but if I just want to take the credits I had remaining, I would be a non-degree student and apply for my degree through NYS. I just got off the phone with someone I was directed to speak with at NYS Higher Education and they don't seem like they have any idea what I am talking about.
The woman kept repeating herself that they don't have any records to release transcripts after I told her several time that I am fully situated with my transcripts and I am call to find out how I apply for my degree.
The phone call was all in all useless and I feel like they have just been trained to tell us over the phone they have no records to give transcripts even if that is not why you are calling. You would think they would more a little more helpful and actually try to understand why we are calling before she repeats herself 6 times about transcripts!
Finally frustrated with this whole situation." - Joan Kraft
