Hi friends, I wanted to share some information I obtained when seeking guidance through the unemployment process. The Suffolk Department of Labor is hosting a meeting for all Dowling employees affected by the school's closure. Details are below. There will be state representatives to answers questions about unemployment and resume writers to help spruce up our resumes. There has also been an influx of calls to their department from other Long Island schools and companies who would like to hire former Dowling employees. Information regarding these job postings will also be made available on that day.
